What is a greenhouse?
It is a closed structure with a translucent outer cover of glass or plastic. Its function is to simulate environmental conditions such as temperature or humidity to promote the growth of fruits and vegetables.

How to make a mini greenhouse at home to germinate seeds?
You will need:
– 5 plastic bottles of one liter (perfectly washed and closed with their caps)
– Of the earth
– A cotton ball
– Seeds
Step 1
Take a plastic bottle and cut it in half. Using a needle, pierce the bottom of the container. Make four to six holes, the goal being to allow good drainage.
2nd step
Make small tabs on the top of the container. To do this, use a pair of scissors and cut vertical lines of 2.5 centimeters.
Do not forget to close with the cap.
Step 3
Fill the bottom of the bottle: place a layer of stones (gravel type) then earth. Place the damp cotton balls on the surface and place the seeds of your choice on top.
Now cover with another wet cotton.

Step 4
Gather the bottom with the top, it will fit perfectly thanks to the tabs you put on. Place your mini greenhouse near a window so it can get some sun and water through the hole in the cover.
In a few weeks, you will see your seeds germinate and beautiful plants grow.
